The ultimate CMC that never was. Connect II was a project of the RPI-ACM, which was intended to replace CONNECT. It suffered from SecondSystemEffect? and DesignByCommittee?, and the main result of the project was lots of design meetings (circa 1988), some design documents, and all sorts of lofty goals that never translated into actual code. But it sure sounded great on paper!
